This matcha bowl is all about quiet strength and simplicity. Wheel-thrown and carved by hand, it draws inspiration from the Japanese kurinuki technique — where form is revealed through carving rather than shaping alone. The gently faceted surface catches the light with soft shifts, and the clear glaze reveals the natural speckled clay beneath. Minimal, tactile, and full of character.

• Shape: Rounded bowl with hand-carved sides and a wide, trimmed foot

• Finish: Clear glaze over natural speckled stoneware
• Material: Durable stoneware clay, high-fired at 1222°C
