Medium Vase / Jug – Yuki Series #02

A soft, sculptural piece from the Yuki Series. This medium-sized vase features hand-carved vertical lines that echo the grain of wood or falling snow — subtle, organic, and full of texture.

The top is dipped in a glossy white glaze that breaks gently over the ridges, while the base remains raw and unglazed — warm-toned and grounding.

It works beautifully as a vase, but also makes a lovely pitcher or brush holder depending on how you use it.

• Shape: Tall cylinder with a narrow spout
• Size: Approx. 17cm height x 6.5cm diameter
• Finish: Glossy white glaze over carved upper half; raw clay on lower half
• Material: Stoneware, fired at 1222°C

Each vase is handmade on my potter’s wheel, so no two are alike. The variations in glaze, splash patterns, and shape highlight the artistry behind every piece, making yours truly one of a kind.
