These Stackable Latte Cups have a soft, rounded form that fits naturally in your hands. It’s practical for everyday use — easy to hold, easy to stack — while keeping that quiet, handmade feel that defines my work.

Each cup is wheel-thrown in my studio, and the glazes in the Inyo Series flow in their own way — deep, glossy tenmoku meeting soft, transparent clear. Where they overlap, new shades appear: warm browns, soft greys, and flowing lines that move like light across clay. Always spontaneous, always unique.

It’s an everyday cup, perfect for a matcha latte, water, or even a hot chocolate with a splash of rum (my personal favourite).

ABOUT THE SERIES

The Inyo Series began as a quiet experiment. I was curious what might happen if I dipped each piece in two different glazes. One dark and rich Tenmoku, the other soft and transparent clear glaze. The result reminded me of a landscape: layered, spontaneous, and full of contrast.

“Inyo” is the Japanese word for yin and yang and this series reflects that idea in both form and finish. Where the two glazes meet, something new and unexpected always appears. Some flows are bold, others gentle — each piece completely unique.

Every item in the series is made slowly and intuitively by hand. The variation in the glazes gives them a sense of quiet movement, and a presence that goes beyond function.
