The Yuki Ash Bowl is made using an ash-grey clay and finished with a flowing glossy white glaze. The darker clay body softens the glaze beautifully, giving the white a calmer and more muted tone with subtle depth and variation throughout the piece.
Each bowl is thrown on the wheel by hand, allowing small throwing lines, soft curves, and natural glaze movement to become part of the final character. I let the glaze move naturally over the rim during firing, so every bowl comes out slightly different.
It’s a really versatile shape that works beautifully for fruit, snacks, soups, side dishes, or placed in the middle of the table filled with something to share.

Why You’ll Love It
I like how simple and natural these bowls feel. The ash-grey clay gives the piece a softer and slightly earthy appearance, while the raw exterior adds warmth and texture in the hands.
The glaze settles differently on every bowl, creating subtle movement and variation around the rim that can never be repeated exactly the same way twice.
Perfect for everyday use but also beautiful left out on a shelf or table between meals.
Pair it with one of our handmade wooden spoons for a beautiful natural combination. Check out the Accessories page to find wooden spoons that complement your ceramic bowl perfectly.
