This bowl is part of the Yuki Series, and it might be one of my favorite shapes to throw. It has a soft, rounded form that feels calm and grounded — with a slightly wider base and a gentle curve that comes together in a way that’s both elegant and functional.
The inside is finished with a glossy white glaze, while the outside is left raw in warm toffee clay. I let the glaze flow just slightly over the edge and down the side — sometimes it drips, sometimes it curves — always in its own way. No two bowls are the same, and I love that about this series.
It’s a lovely size for your favorite noodle bowl, a generous salad, or something warm and comforting at the end of the day. Honest, simple, and made to be used.

Why You’ll Love It
This bowl brings a sense of stillness. It’s smooth on the inside, soft to the touch on the outside, and the way the glaze drips is always a little surprise out of the kiln. It’s the kind of piece you’ll want to reach for again and again — because it works, and because it feels good to hold.
Also a beautiful gift for someone who appreciates simple, well-made things.
About the Yuki Series
The Yuki Series is inspired by the gentle stillness of snow. In Japanese, yuki means snow—a symbol of softness, quiet, and presence. Each piece in this collection reflects that feeling through flowing white glaze, warm toffee clay, and calm, rounded forms.
This series is about balance—between raw and refined, textured and smooth, earth and light. No two pieces are ever the same. The glaze settles naturally, embracing each curve in its own way, much like snow melting across stone.
Created for slow rituals and meaningful moments, the Yuki Series brings a quiet kind of beauty into the everyday.
