Calm, elegant, and made for everyday use. This handmade Breakfast Bowl is finished in the Mizu glaze, a soft blue finish that develops beautiful variation during firing. Shades of pale blue, blue-grey, and deeper watery tones flow across the interior and upper exterior, while the lower half is left unglazed, allowing the natural stoneware clay and throwing lines to remain visible.
The contrast between the cool blue glaze and warm raw clay creates a balanced, natural look that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Why You’ll Love It
There is something wonderfully calming about the Mizu glaze. During firing, the colour develops subtle layers and tonal variations, creating a surface that feels reminiscent of water, sky, and natural landscapes.
The exposed clay on the lower half provides warmth and texture, while the visible throwing rings celebrate the handmade nature of the piece. Together they create a bowl full of quiet character.
Its comfortably size makes it a versatile addition to your kitchen. Perfect for yoghurt, fruit, granola, porridge, soup, rice dishes, or smaller pasta meals throughout the day.
Pair it with our handcrafted wooden spoon for a simple, natural combination that adds warmth to your tea or table ritual.
