A handmade ceramic matcha bowl, finished in a deep Rust glaze with warm brown, amber and earthy red tones.

The outside has been individually carved by hand, creating deep horizontal lines around the entire bowl. The glossy glaze settles into the carved grooves and becomes lighter across the raised areas, bringing the texture to life.

The inside has been left smooth for easy whisking, while the rounded shape and wide opening give your matcha whisk plenty of room to move.

Please note: The matcha whisk, spoon and whisk holder shown in the photographs are not included, but can be purchased separately.

      • Material: Durable stoneware clay, fired at 1222°C
      • Finish: Glossy Rust glaze with a hand-carved exterior

      WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

      he Rust glaze has a rich, earthy depth that changes as the light moves across the bowl. Darker brown gathers inside the carved lines, while warmer amber and reddish tones appear across the raised surface.

      Each bowl is carved individually by hand, so the lines and glaze will vary slightly from piece to piece. These small differences are a natural part of the handmade process.

      With a capacity of approximately 500 ml, there is plenty of room to whisk matcha without splashing. The rounded form also feels comfortable to hold in both hands.
