Raw, earthy, and full of presence—this one-of-a-kind cup combines the energy of wheel throwing with the quiet meditation of carving.
The form begins on the wheel, then is carefully hand-carved to create an organic, tactile surface. Inspired by kurinuki techniques, the carved exterior invites touch, while the creamy nuka glaze softens the texture with a beautiful contrast between roughness and smooth.

Why You’ll Love It
This cup is all about contrast—between light and dark, smooth and raw, intentional shape and natural imperfection.
The hand-carved exterior offers a grounding feel in your hands, while the satin-like nuka glaze brings a soft, luminous quality to the piece. It’s ideal for tea, coffee, or simply holding in a quiet moment. Whether used or admired on the shelf, this cup tells its own story through texture and form.
