A large statement piece designed for sharing food and bringing people together. This handmade serving bowl is wheel-thrown in my home studio and finished with a flowing glossy white glaze that moves naturally across the form, revealing the warmth of the clay beneath.
What makes this bowl special is its organic shape. The rim isn't perfectly round but gently moves around the form with subtle curves and soft irregularities, giving it a natural character that feels both elegant and relaxed.

Why You’ll Love It
This is the kind of bowl that naturally becomes the centre of the table.
Its generous size makes it perfect for serving large salads, pasta dishes, roasted vegetables, bread, fruit, or sharing meals with family and friends. It also looks beautiful displayed on a dining table or kitchen counter between uses.
I love the movement in this piece. The gently undulating rim, visible throwing rings, and flowing glaze all work together to create a bowl that feels organic and full of character. The shape is refined without feeling overly perfect, inspired by the beauty often found in Japanese ceramics.
The glossy white glaze flows freely during firing, creating soft transitions between clay and glaze that can never be repeated exactly the same way twice. Every bowl develops its own unique pattern and personality.
About the Yuki Series
The Yuki Series is inspired by the gentle stillness of snow. In Japanese, yuki means snow—a symbol of softness, quiet, and presence. Each piece in this collection reflects that feeling through flowing white glaze, warm toffee clay, and calm, rounded forms.
This series is about balance—between raw and refined, textured and smooth, earth and light. No two pieces are ever the same. The glaze settles naturally, embracing each curve in its own way, much like snow melting across stone.
Created for slow rituals and meaningful moments, the Yuki Series brings a quiet kind of beauty into the everyday.
