A generous, statement piece made to be used and admired. This large bowl is wheel-thrown and carefully hand carved around the outside, creating soft horizontal lines that catch the light and highlight the natural warmth of the clay.

The white glaze flows freely over the rim and settles into parts of the carved surface, creating contrast between smooth and textured areas. Every mark is intentional, yet no two patterns ever turn out the same.
