Part of the Inyo Series, this handmade dinner plate celebrates the beauty of balance and contrast. Finished with flowing tenmoku and clear glaze, each plate develops its own unique pattern during firing, creating subtle movement and depth across the surface.
The clean round form, visible throwing rings, and rounded raised edge give the plate a timeless feel that is equally suited to everyday meals and special occasions.

Because every plate is handmade, the flowing glaze pattern, subtle drips, and natural variations visible in the photos will differ slightly from piece to piece, making each plate uniquely its own.
Why You’ll Love It
What makes this plate special is the way the two glazes interact during firing. The rich tenmoku glaze flows into the glossy clear glaze, creating beautiful transitions and subtle variations that can never be repeated exactly the same way twice.
The rounded raised edge frames food beautifully while remaining practical for everyday use. Visible throwing rings beneath the glaze add depth and character, catching the light and highlighting the handmade nature of the piece.
At 22 cm wide, it's a versatile size for breakfast, lunch, dinner, pastries, desserts, or smaller sharing dishes. The contrast between the dark and light glazes helps colours and textures stand out naturally, making every meal feel a little more special.
About the Inyo Series
The Inyo Series is inspired by the Japanese concept of balance and harmony. Inyo is the Japanese word for yin and yang, reflecting the meeting of opposing elements that work together as one.
Throughout the collection, tenmoku and clear glaze come together across the clay, creating unique patterns and transitions during firing. The contrast between dark and light, glossy and raw, has become the signature of the series.
No two pieces are ever exactly alike. Each firing creates its own movement, making every plate a one-of-a-kind expression of the process.
