A handmade ceramic matcha bowl with an organic shape, softly waved rim and a combination of clear and tenmoku glaze.

The clear glaze allows the warm colour and natural texture of the stoneware clay to remain visible. Around the lower part of the bowl, the tenmoku creates loose, earthy markings in brown and olive tones. Where the glazes meet, they have reacted naturally during firing, creating soft transitions and small variations across the surface.

The inside is fully covered in clear glaze, creating a smooth surface for whisking matcha. With its rounded base, gently narrowing sides and 500 ml capacity, the bowl provides plenty of room to move the whisk comfortably.

Please note: The matcha whisk, spoon, and whisk holder are not included, but can be added to complete your tea setup.

The softly irregular rim and subtle movement in the sides give this bowl an organic shape that feels comfortable between both hands.

Its 500 ml capacity provides enough room to whisk matcha without the bowl feeling oversized. The gently narrowing sides help keep the movement contained, while the smooth glazed interior makes it easy to use and clean.

The tenmoku moves freely around the lower part of the bowl rather than following a perfectly even line. This creates a beautiful contrast with the pale clear glaze and gives the bowl a different appearance from every angle.
