This bowl started as a small experiment.
I applied the Black Truffle glaze in a bold, radiating pattern across the interior, leaving sections of warm stoneware clay exposed. The contrast between the dark glaze and natural clay creates a design that draws your eye towards the centre of the bowl.
What I love most is the way the glaze settles and breaks across the surface. Subtle variations appear in every section, giving each bowl its own character and making no two pieces exactly alike.
Perfect for serving salads, fruit, pasta dishes, or shared meals, this is a piece designed to be used, admired, and enjoyed for years to come.

Why You’ll Love It
This is one of my favourite experiments to come out of the kiln.
The design draws your eye towards the centre of the bowl, while the contrast between the exposed clay and dark glaze creates a striking yet natural look. The glaze develops subtle variation across each section, ensuring no two bowls are exactly alike.
Its generous size makes it ideal for serving salads, fruit, pasta dishes, shared meals, or displaying as a centrepiece when not in use.
What started as an experiment quickly became a piece I couldn't stop looking at.
Pair it with a wooden spoon for the perfect breakfast experience. Check out our Accessories page to find beautifully crafted wooden spoons that complement your ceramic bowl.
