With its flowing lines and organic shape, this handmade bowl brings a softer, more natural feel to the table. Finished in a rich Black Truffle glaze, the surface reveals subtle variations of black, charcoal, and warm earthy tones that develop during the firing process.
Unlike a perfectly symmetrical bowl, this piece has an organic form and a softly folded rim, giving it movement and character from every angle. The result is a piece that feels both functional and sculptural.

Why You’ll Love It
What makes this bowl special is its organic shape. The softly folded rim and flowing lines give it a natural character that feels calm and effortless.
One of my favourite things about the Black Truffle glaze is how differently it develops on every piece. In some areas it appears a deep, rich black, while in others softer charcoal tones emerge as the light catches the surface. These subtle variations ensure that no two bowls are ever exactly alike.
Perfect for pasta, salads, fruit, side dishes, or serving at the table, it's a versatile piece you'll reach for again and again.
Like all IKKAI pieces, this bowl is individually wheel-thrown and finished by hand in my home studio. The visible throwing lines and subtle variations celebrate the beauty of handmade ceramics.
Pair it with our handcrafted wooden spoon for a simple, natural combination that adds warmth to your tea or table ritual.
