Small Footed Serving Bowl – Black Truffle

This Small Footed Serving Bowl is finished in a rich matte Black glaze and made from speckled stoneware clay. During firing, the subtle speckles in the clay gently emerge through the dark glaze, creating depth, movement, and character across the surface.

The glaze shifts beautifully in different light, revealing soft tones of dark brown, charcoal, and black. Combined with the wide open form and raised foot, it creates a piece that feels both understated and striking at the same time.

Each bowl is thrown individually on the wheel in my home studio. Small variations in the glaze, subtle throwing lines, and the handmade nature of the piece ensure that no two are ever exactly alike.
