Soft, calm, and inspired by the gentle movement of water. These handmade Stackable Latte Cups are finished in a matte Mizu glaze that reveals subtle tones of misty blue, soft grey, and weathered stone. The surface shifts slightly depending on the light, giving each cup its own unique character.
The dark clay remains visible at the foot, creating a beautiful contrast with the lighter glaze. Together, they create a timeless combination that feels both modern and natural.
Each cup is individually wheel-thrown and glazed by hand in my home studio. No two are ever exactly alike.

Why You’ll Love It
The name Mizu means water in Japanese. When I look at this glaze, I see the same softness and calmness found in still lakes, morning mist, and weathered coastal stone.
The matte finish feels wonderful in the hand, while the subtle colour variations add depth without demanding attention. Visible throwing lines remain beneath the glaze, celebrating the handmade process and giving each cup its own character.
With a capacity of approximately 300ml, these cups are perfect for coffee, cappuccinos, tea, hot chocolate, or a matcha latte. The stackable design makes them practical for everyday use, while their handmade nature ensures they always feel special.
