This matcha bowl was thrown on the wheel using speckled stoneware clay. It has a bold, grounded silhouette and a tactile surface that still shows the rhythm of the wheel. A glossy white glaze was poured over the top, flowing naturally and allowing the warm tones of the raw clay to peek through. In some places, the glaze breaks and dri
ps gently, creating movement and contrast.
The shape feels steady in the hands, with just the right balance of height and openness. It’s made for slow mornings, quiet tea moments, or anyone who finds beauty in simplicity.

- Shape: cylindrical form with soft throwing lines and a trimmed foot
- Size: 8cm height x 12cm diameter
- Capacity: Approx. 500ml
- Finish: Glossy white glaze with flowing drips over natural speckled stoneware
- Material: Durable stoneware clay, fired at 1222°C
