Part of the Hinoki Series, this matcha bowl features a bold faceted form enhanced with flowing slip decoration applied by hand before firing. The raised lines create movement across the surface and give the glaze beautiful depth and variation. As the green glaze settles around the slip, the bowl reveals different details from every angle.
Finished in a rich glossy green glaze, the carved details become even more pronounced as the glaze settles across the surface. The combination of texture, form, and glaze creates a bowl that feels both natural and expressive.
The integrated pouring spout follows the curve of the rim, making it easy to pour matcha into a cup for lattes or shared tea moments.
