I have been waiting for a restock of the Inyo collection since I started following Ikkai Ceramics this summer. I had my alarm set and was able to get my first choice matcha bowl, whisk holder and this cup. Everything was even more beautiful in person! I wish I ordered stackable cups as well. All the items shipped quickly to the US and were perfectly packaged. I definitely will be purchasing more items in the future.

This is by far the most beautiful matcha bowl I have ever purchased from IKKAI! I have bought quite a few bowls from him over the years, both for myself and as gifts for friends. They are all stunning, but this particular bowl is truly something special.
The glaze, the patterns, and the overall craftsmanship are simply perfect. One detail I especially appreciate is how thoughtfully he designs the bottom of his bowls. The interior is flat enough to allow the bamboo whisk to move smoothly and whisk the matcha perfectly. It’s a small but important detail that makes a real difference when preparing matcha.
I would absolutely recommend getting a piece from him. His work is not only beautiful but also incredibly functional!
I absolutely love the sculptural shape and deep green glaze of this cup! It feels wonderful to hold and is the perfect size for my cappuccino. It makes my daily coffee ritual feel a little bit more special. Ikkai is clearly run with love and passion.
