A small piece with a lot of charm.
These egg cups were thrown on the wheel in my studio and finished with the soft greens of the Mori glaze — flowing gently over warm stoneware and settling into a smooth, glossy pool inside. Simple, earthy, and full of character.

They have a wide, flared rim that holds the egg comfortably and catches any little crumbs along the way. A tiny everyday item, but one that feels special in the hand.

Why You’ll Love It

These little egg cups bring a soft, natural look to the breakfast table. The shape is comfortable to hold, the rim gives it a playful silhouette, and the glaze has that gentle movement that makes each piece feel alive.

No two cups are ever the same — the Mori glaze finds its own path in every firing, creating soft blends of green, beige, and warm brown. It’s a tiny piece with a lot of quiet personality.

Use it for soft-boiled eggs, salt portions, little sauces, or even as a tiny stand for jewellery or stones — people always find their own way with them.

Pair it with our handcrafted wooden spoon for a simple, natural combination that adds warmth to your tea or table ritual.

About the Mori Series

The word Mori means forest in Japanese — a symbol of depth, stillness, and renewal. This series reflects that spirit through its flowing green glaze and warm clay body, meeting in surfaces that are always spontaneous and alive.

Each piece is wheel-thrown and glazed by hand, allowing the glaze to move freely and settle in ways that can never be repeated. The Mori Series carries the calm strength of the forest, bringing a touch of green into everyday life.
