EXACT PIECE PICTURED - You will receive the exact piece shown in the photographs

Rich, dark, and full of character, the Black Truffle Matcha Bowl is made from stoneware clay and finished in a deep matte glaze that develops beautiful variation during firing. Layers of charcoal, espresso, and earthy brown tones move softly across the surface, creating a finish that feels both natural and refined.

The rounded shape sits comfortably in the hands and offers plenty of room for whisking matcha. Small throwing lines remain visible beneath the glaze, reminding you that each bowl was made individually on the wheel and can never be repeated exactly the same way twice.

Please note: The matcha whisk, spoon, and whisk holder are not included, but can be added to complete your tea setup.

      WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

What I love most about this bowl is the depth of the glaze. At first glance it appears almost black, but as the light moves across the surface, softer tones of brown, charcoal, and warm grey begin to emerge. The matte finish gives the bowl a quiet elegance while allowing the natural form to take centre stage.

The rounded shape feels comfortable and balanced in the hands, making it perfect for preparing and enjoying matcha. The generous interior provides plenty of space for whisking, while the curved walls help create a smooth and creamy foam.

Each bowl develops its own personality during firing. No two pieces will ever have exactly the same pattern, tone, or surface variation, making every bowl truly one of a kind.

Simple, timeless, and designed to be enjoyed every day, this is a piece that brings warmth and character to any matcha collection.

Complete your matcha ritual by pairing this bowl with a Matching Whisk Holder or Bamboo Tea Accessories for the perfect tea-making experience.
