A soft, rounded Matcha bowl with a gentle flower-like shape and a beautiful clear crackle glaze, known as kannyū . The fine network of lines gives it a quiet depth—like still water catching light—and lets the warmth of the clay show through just enough.

It feels calm and balanced in the hands, and there’s something really special about how the glaze came out on this one. Perfect for matcha, or just for slowing down with something warm.

• Shape: Softly rounded form with gently flared, flower-shaped rim
• Size: Approx. 9.5cm height x 12cm diameter
• Capacity: Approx. 650ml
• Finish:Clear crackle glaze
• Material: Durable stoneware clay, high-fired at 1222°C

Due to the nature of the crackle glaze (kannyū), the fine lines may develop subtle staining over time, especially with tea.
This natural patina becomes part of the bowl’s story, but if you prefer to keep the glaze looking light and clear, it’s best to rinse the bowl soon after use.

If you want to protect the crackle more actively, you can occasionally rub the surface with a gentle baking soda paste and rinse well.
