Simple, bold, and designed for everyday matcha moments. This handmade Matcha Bowl with Pouring Spout is finished in the Black Truffle glaze — a rich matte surface that shifts between deep brown, charcoal, and soft black depending on the light.

The rounded form provides plenty of room for whisking, while the integrated pouring spout allows you to transfer your matcha smoothly into a cup without spills. Subtle throwing lines remain visible beneath the glaze, giving the bowl texture and movement that can only come from the handmade process.

Please note: The matcha whisk, spoon, and whisk holder are not included, but can be added to complete your tea setup.

      WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

The rounded shape gives you plenty of space to whisk matcha comfortably, while the pouring spout makes serving easy and clean. If you enjoy matcha lattes, this bowl is particularly useful, allowing you to whisk and pour directly into your favourite cup.

What makes this piece special is the Black Truffle glaze. In some light it appears almost black, while in others warm earthy tones emerge through the surface. The glaze settles beautifully around the throwing lines, creating depth and character without distracting from the simplicity of the form.

Complete your matcha ritual by pairing this bowl with a Matching Whisk Holder or Bamboo Tea Accessories for the perfect tea-making experience.

      ABOUT THE SERIES

The Black Truffle Series is inspired by the deep, earthy tones and natural beauty of black truffles. Its rich matte glaze moves between warm black, charcoal and subtle brown tones as the light changes, giving each piece a quiet depth and understated elegance.

Many of the pieces are individually carved by hand, creating textured surfaces that catch the light and make the dark glaze feel even more alive. Alongside the smoother forms, each piece is handmade in small batches, allowing the natural variations in the carving, clay and glaze to make every one completely unique.
