Matcha Bowl – Yuki #01

Part of the Yuki Series, this handmade Matcha bowl brings together the raw warmth of toffee clay and the soft, flowing movement of glossy white glaze. Each bowl is wheel-thrown in my home studio and glazed by hand, allowing the glaze to drip and settle naturally—so no two are ever the same. It’s a quiet, grounding piece that brings beauty and calm to your daily ritual.

• Shape: Rounded design with a small footed base
• Size: 8 cm height x 11 cm diameter
• Capacity: Approx. 500ml
• Finish: Glossy white glaze over toffee clay, each pattern one of a kind
• Material: Stoneware clay, fired at 1222°C

Because every bowl is handmade on my wheel, you might notice slight differences in shape, size, or glaze from the photo. That’s what makes each one truly special.

Please note: The matcha whisk, spoon, and whisk holder are not included, but can be added to complete your tea setup.

The Yuki Series is inspired by the softness and stillness of freshly fallen snow. Each piece is made with warm toffee clay and finished with a flowing, glossy white glaze—highlighting the contrast between raw earth and gentle light. The name Yuki, meaning “snow” in Japanese, reflects the quiet beauty, calm, and purity found in this collection.
