A rounded matcha bowl with a pouring spout, finished in my Black Truffle glaze.
The soft, curved form sits comfortably in the hands, while the small spout makes it easy to pour matcha smoothly into a cup after whisking. The Black Truffle glaze develops beautiful variation across the surface, shifting between deep charcoal, warm brown, and subtle metallic tones depending on the light.
This is a bowl designed for daily matcha moments, but it works just as beautifully for sauces, dressings, or small desserts.

Why You’ll Love It
I’ve always loved rounded matcha bowls. There’s something about their shape that feels comfortable and natural in the hands.
The pouring spout adds a practical detail without distracting from the simplicity of the form. After whisking your matcha, you can pour directly into a cup with ease.
The Black Truffle glaze is one of my favourite glazes to open from the kiln. Depending on the firing and the light, it can reveal subtle layers of charcoal, bronze, and warm earthy tones across the surface.
Because every bowl is made and glazed by hand, no two are ever exactly alike.
I create every piece by hand in my studio. The name "IKKAI" means "one time," which reflects the uniqueness of each item I make. No two pieces are ever the same, and that’s what makes them special. My goal is to craft ceramics that bring joy, beauty, and a sense of connection to your everyday life.
