Why You’ll Love It
What I love most about this bowl is its quiet simplicity.
The Tsuki glaze develops beautiful variation during firing, creating subtle shifts in tone and character throughout the surface. No two bowls are ever exactly alike, giving each piece its own unique personality.
The exterior features a subtle slip texture that adds depth while maintaining the clean, rounded shape of the bowl. Combined with the flowing glaze and exposed clay, it creates a piece that feels timeless and comfortable to use.
I create every piece by hand in my studio. The name "IKKAI" means "one time," which reflects the uniqueness of each item I make. No two pieces are ever the same, and that’s what makes them special. My goal is to craft ceramics that bring joy, beauty, and a sense of connection to your everyday life.
